ABOUT THE PRACTICE
Kathi Fairbend instructs workers, students, athletes, and musicians to prevent back, neck, arm and hand pain by sitting and moving properly, adjusting their work environments, and performing simple preventative exercises.

She conducts educational seminars for employees, consults on the design of specific workspaces, and advises corporations on appropriate equipment and health/ safety policies.

ABOUT KATHI FAIRBEND
Kathi Fairbend specializes in exercise, posture, and body mechanics. In 40 years as a physical therapist, teacher, and consultant, she has focused on teaching people to avoid pain through simple exercises and safe workplace routines.

Kathi has consulted with corporations throughout the US, including IBM, Northeast Petroleum, and numerous law firms. She has taught at Babson College, Boston University, Northeastern University, and Simmons College.

Kathi is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American College for Sports Medicine. She earned a BS from Tufts University and an MS from Boston University.
